The Problem

Using turn signals correctly is crucial for avoiding accidents. However, remembering to shut off turn signals is even more important!

Sometimes, accidents are caused because riders forget to turn off their turn signal.

For example, if someone is waiting for an opportune time to pull out onto a street, they may see a bike that has left their turn signal on from a previous turn coming towards them. The driver waiting to pull out may misjudge the turn signal and pull out in front of the bike they believe to be turning.

As one can assume, the accident could have been avoided if the rider of the oncoming bike remembered to shut off their turn signal. This is where an audible bike turn signal alert comes into play.

The Solution

Although many bikes have some sort of visual indication that a turn signal is working, very often, especially in bright sunlight, they can go unnoticed.

In addition, some have the warning light mounted on the tank where it is even more likely to be missed.

This device is an audible turn signal beeper that is connected to your turn signals. When a turn signal is turned on it emits an audible beeping sound to remind you that your turn signal is still on.

Turning off the turn signal silences the alert.

The Kit

The turn alert kit consists of a small unit enclosed in a sturdy plastic casing, connectors, cable ties and full instructions.

The kit can be connected to the front or rear turn signals or directly to the turn signal unit.

If there is a single turn indicator warning light, as is often the case with tank mounted units, only one lead is used.

The ground (earth) wire can be connected to any bike ground.

The device is available as positive (+ve) earth (ground) or negative (-ve) earth (ground). Most bikes are negative (-ve) earth (ground). Please let us know if this is not the case for your vehicle.
